DCHS Prom

We are excited to announce that prom will be held at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis on May 8th. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be some changes in the way prom has been traditionally hosted. The following changes will help to accommodate the safety of all students:

Masks will be required once students enter the Hyatt. 

Social distancing restrictions will be required

Tickets will only be sold to students who attend DCHS or DTSE. No outside guest will be allowed.

Due to the reduced number of students attending the DCHS prom, it is now possible to implement some positive changes to the prom schedule. We were able to combine the two sessions into one to give students more time at prom. The adjusted time will be 7:30pm-10:30pm on May 8th @ the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Indianapolis. If your child bought a ticket for the first session, a new ticket will issued to your student in the next week with a new table number on it. If your student bought a ticket for the second session, no changes will be made to their ticket, just make note of the time change. See Mrs. Sanders or Mrs. Tate if you have any questions.

Students will be allowed to choose the session that they will attend until the session is full. 

They will also be able to choose who sits at their table until the table is full. 

Seats will be socially distant, so no chairs will be permitted to be moved.

While we encourage social distancing the whole time, we will need the help of all students to make this happen. Please encourage your students to follow the 3 feet distancing guidelines set by the Marion County Health Department and the CDC
