MSD Decatur School Board Recognizes New Staff

At the School Board Meeting on November 14, 2023, new staff members were approved and recognized:

The board unanimously approved a resolution appointing Assistant Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Hofer as Interim Superintendent, effective January 1, 2024. Read the full press release here.

Mr. Cleo Lyons, Assistant Director of Facilities, was introduced by Dr. Prusiecki, Superintendent and Mr. Mike Nelson, Director of Facilities, and welcomed by board members.

Additionally, two new officers were sworn in to the Decatur Township School Police force.  Sergeant Westmoreland conducted the ceremony and joined the school board and administration in welcoming Officers Teawanda “Tea” Wrespress and Jeffery Frencher, who both bring prior experience as school resource officers to their new positions.
