Device Lost? (Elementary)

More Information:
- Student or Staff member has lost their device.
- No matter if a student or staff member the incident will need to be reported to your buildings Tech IA. The Tech IA is the point of contact for all iPad related situations.
- The Tech IA will use Find My iPhone to try and help the person locate the device.
- While the person is attempting to use Find My iPhone the Tech IA will "Brick" the iPad locking it done to make sure no one can use it. The Tech IA will also mark the device as lost in FileWave
- Tech IA will then use FileWave to see if any location history has been reported to our servers.
- The Tech IA will then contact both the building treasurer and principal to notify that the student has lost their device. The treasurer will record the incident in Skyward and flag the students account.
- The treasurer will inform the school police that the device is considered lost.
- If the students device has not been found at this point the student will receive a replacement device within 24 hours.
- After two weeks of the device being lost the treasurer will apply the charge to the students account for the iPad ($539.99), Case, and Charger ($69.99).
- Treasure confirms this fee has been applied to the account.
