Snowcoming Events for January21 - 25

This year, the theme of Snowcoming at DCHS will be Hawks helping for a Cause. Snowcoming is Jan. 25th.  There will be 5 Spirit Days, and each Spirit Day will represent a worthy cause. Each day at lunch Student Council will be collecting donations for the cause of the day. Proceeds will be sent to that foundation. Any Snowcoming event on that specific day will also be donated to the cause it is representing. 

Spirit Days: 

Monday (1-21-19) Red Day- Represent ALS

Tuesday- Blue/Puzzle Day)- Represent Autism

Wed.- Grey Day- Kt1D Represent Diabetes

Thursday- Green Day Representing Cerebral Palsy

Friday- Pink Day Represent Breast Cancer

Wed. 1-23-19 During CCR Basketball Game:

We will have an underclass (9 and10) vs. upperclass (11&12) basketball game for diabetes during CCR. The first 15 underclassmen and 15 upperclassmen that sign up with Mrs. Tate and pay $5 will get to play. Each team MUST have 5 female players on their team! The game will be played during CCR on Wednesday - it will cost $2 to attend the game. The winner of the game will play the staff in the pep session on Friday! All proceeds will go to the KtD1foundation for diabetes. You must sign up with Mrs. Tate in Room 300 by Thursday 1-17-19! Students who wish to attend the game during CCR must purchase a ticket for $2.  Tickets on sale in 300E.

Snowcoming Shirts:

We will be selling pink shirts to represent breast cancer and all proceeds will go to an Alumni's family that past away over Christmas break, Heather (Surber) Sebanc class of 1995. The game on Friday will be a Pink out! Shirts will be on sale the week of Jan. 21 in room 300 for $15. See Mrs. Tate if you have any questions.

Snowcoming Court:

All students will vote for Snowcoming Court on Tuesday in CCR on Naviance. The underclassmen will ONLY Vote on this day! The female and male with the most nominations in the 9, 10, and 11th grade will be named your 2019 Princess and Prince for each grade level. The top 4 Senior Girls and Boys will make up your Snowcoming Queen and King Court. THE SENIORS will vote again on Thursday in Naviance for Queen and King. The Winner will be announced at the game on Friday the 25th.

Pep Session:

We will be on pep session schedule on Friday, Jan 25th!

Snowcoming Basketball Game:

Boys and Girls will take on Plainfield Friday Night the 25th! The game theme will be Pink Out! 

Semi-Formal Dance:

Cupid's Ball! There will be a semi-formal dance on February 9, 2019 in the cafeteria from 7-10. You MUST be a DCHS student to attend. You must present your ID to purchase tickets to enter the dance. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale with Mrs. Tate in room 300 on Monday, January 14-Friday Feb.1 CASH ONLY
