Updated iPads for DCHS in the 2018-19 School Year

Students in grades 9-11 at Decatur Central High School will receive new, updated iPads for the 2018-19 school year.  Because of this, it is vital that all students return their iPad, with the case, on Thursday, May 24, during the CCR period at the end of the day (2:30 - 3:45).  If students are unable to attend due to illness, their iPad must be returned prior to this time. 

It is important to note that students should keep the charger that was assigned to them.  Chargers will not be distributed with the new iPads as the chargers assigned to the students originally will work with the new iPad.  Students who have lost or damaged their assigned charger are responsible for acquiring a new Apple charger.

Before returning the iPad, students are required to do the following tasks:

  1. Save wanted documents (upload them to their iCloud account
  2. Sign out of their Apple ID
  3. Reset their iPad to factory settings

The images shown should help those who need assistance.  Students are encouraged to see their CCR teachers or Mr. Roten in the Technology Depot in DCHS should they need support in completing these tasks.
