DCHS Announces Summer School Information

Students will have two options for Summer School at DCHS.  The enrollment window has opened and will remain open through May 26^th.  The cost for summer school is $25, a flat fee.  Students may take only two classes. 

Any student who wants to take any math or foreign language for credit recovery OR English 12 A or B or Government or Economics for FIRST TIME CREDIT, needs to see a guidance counselor.  These classes will only be offered through Indiana Online Academy.  Classes will not be approved until payment is received.  Students should bring payment to his or her counselor. 

We will offer the following classes on Apex:

·         Health (first time OR credit recovery)

·         PE (first time OR credit recovery)

·         English 9 A and B (credit recovery)

·         English 10 A and B (credit recovery)

·         English 11 A and B (credit recovery)

·         Biology I a and B (credit recovery)

·         ICP 1 or 2 (credit recovery)

·         Physics 1 A or B (credit recovery)

·         Chemistry I A or B (credit recovery)

·         Earth Space Science A or B (credit recovery)

·         World History 1 or 2 (credit recovery)

·         US History 1 or 2 (credit recovery)

Any student wishing to sign up for Apex MUST complete this parent and student guidelines form AND pay for the class prior to class approval.  Fee and forms need to be turned in to his or her counselor.  Once the fee and forms have been submitted, students will be given access to the online registration. 

The CHOICE lab will be available Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm for ANY student wishing to work on classes.  The labs will be staffed at this time.  The labs will open the week of June 5^th and will close after Thursday, June 29^th
