Decatur Central Students Take the Gold at the Jefferson Awards

1 Jefferson Winners

On March 9, a group of DCHS students attended the Jefferson Awards' Spring Competition and took home the first place gold banner, beating out their competition by 18 points. DCHS was represented on stage by Marissa Summers, Morgan Wade, Jessie Sommers, and Jenna Franklin. During their speech, the students talked about their personal community service projects and all that DCHS as a whole has accomplished in community service. By winning this competition, the group has received the chance to compete for a national award in Washington D.C. in June 2016.  

Once again, Decatur Central students have proven they are top notch.  Decatur Township is the place to be!  We are Decatur Proud of our staff, students and community.
