DCHS JAG Students Compete for Scholarships and Win Big!

DCHS swept the competition and won 1st place in all Chapter events including the JAG Commmercial, Brochure, and Service Learning Blog. Our individual winners included:

  • 1st Place, Entrepreneurship Plan: Emily Ferrell, Brianda Gallardo, and Jose Mayorga Salazar
  • 1st Place, Cover Design, Madison Smotherman
  • 2nd Place, Cover Design, Isriel McNeil
  • 2nd Place, Creative Solutions, Preston Meyer
  • 2nd Place, Outstanding Senior, Adamarie Castaneda
  • 3rd Place, Employability Skills, Diontaye Moore
  • 3rd Place, Career Presentation, Madison Smotherman
  • 3rd Place, Writing Skills, Tamie Mason

 Mrs. Beth Bowling, JAG Youth Specialist, Transition Resources, stated "The students wouldn't have performed as well as they did if it weren't for all of you prepping them academically.
