DC Jazz Ensemble Performs for Walmart Opening

Walmart asked the DC band to perform at the grand opening of it's new store in Decatur Township.  The DC Jazz Ensemble #1 performed outside on Oct. 30th from 7:00-7:30 am. The band was given $750 to help off-set the costs of contest entry fees, transportation costs, and to help pay additional people that write music and drill for the marching band, drum-line and Color Guard.  We are incredibly #DecaturProud of our entire band department.  It is such a thrill to have these students and staff members represent Decatur Central High School in such an honorable fashion!
