Message from Director

Thank you for visiting New Tech School of IDEAS. IDEAS opened its doors in 2007, introducing a technology rich, project-based learning environment to the MSD Decatur Township Community.

It has been my honor and privilege to be the director for these past 8 years. In that time, IDEAS has strived to provide a learning environment that challenges students to be responsible learners and citizens through projects that solve real world challenges. As our learners work on each project in groups, strong teamwork skills are learned and honed over time. As a result, we see many of our learners becoming strong leaders in many areas of their lives; from the performing arts to the arena of athletic competition to college and career. We have found that the formation of strong, positive relationships between staff and learners allows us to form the type of familial culture that empowers students to overcome the inevitable challenges learning and life bring.

It is our desire that our students leave IDEAS knowing they have been pushed further than they thought possible. Learned more than they thought capable. Prepared more for their future than they imagined.
