Congratulations to Decatur Central High School student, Scarlet Lacayo-Frias, who has been selected as the first recipient of the Daniel Davis Memorial Scholarship. Scarlet serves as the secretary and social media organizer for the National Honor Society. She is also a member of show choir and serves as president of the International Thespian Society. Scarlet has been accepted to Ball State and IU Bloomington and intendes to purse a degree in media management. The family of Daniel Davis are honored to be a part of this scholarship and keep his memory alive. Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk!!
