DCHS Senior, Skyler Wagoner Recognized by TIME Magazine as one of 50 Instagram Accounts to Follow

Decatur Central’s Skyler Wagoner Recognized by Time Magazine

TIME Magazine online released a list of 50 Instagram accounts to follow- one from each state. Decatur Central’s Skyler Wagoner was chosen as Indiana’s Instagram account to follow (@skylerwagoner).

Skyler appears on this list along with professional photographers, graphic designers, university professors and other artists.   “Only 17, Skyler Wagoner already shows great promise. His photographs of Indiana’s countryside, mixed with portraits of his friends, have a certain nostalgic Stand By Me feel to them.” – time.com/instagram50

Skyler is a senior at Decatur Central High School in the EDGE Small Learning Community. After graduating from Decatur Central High School, he plans to plans to attend the Art Institute of Indianapolis, major in photography and travel the world. When asked what TIME’s recognition meant to him, Skyler responded, “It blows my mind that they chose one person from every state and I, just a 17 year old from Indianapolis, was chosen. I’m beyond grateful, and I’m blessed by every second of it.”
